Genomics 2021

Top 10 Genomics Solution Companies in Europe - 2021

Top 10 Genomics Solution Companies in Europe - 2021

Research in genomics holds the key to addressing many of the global healthcare challenges. The cost of genetic testing has dropped significantly in recent years as developments in sequencing technology have made individual genome sequencing economically viable. Remarkable advancements in genomics technology, such as pharmacogenomics, direct-to-consumer genomics, and wearable data-collection devices, are resulting in massive data pools.

Researchers are able to analyse and use this genetic data in new directions using in-memory computing technology, leading to unprecedented changes in the way healthcare is currently delivered. Some of these breakthroughs are already transpiring, as liquid biopsy DNA testing emerge as non-invasive screening alternatives for early cancer diagnosis. Furthermore, novel gene editing technologies may soon offer innovative approaches to alter genes to alleviate rare genetic disorders.

Not only have these enabling technologies revolutionised genomics research, but they have also paved the way for clinical genomics. In the clinic, genomic approaches have transformed testing in infectious illness, cancer, and hereditary disease by enabling the detection of newer analytes, enhancing analytical performance, and, in certain circumstances, offering a shorter turnaround time than traditional testing methods.

With a mind to assist organizations in choosing the appropriate genomic solutions suited to their specific needs, a distinguished panel of CEOs, CIOs, VCs, and other thought leaders from the industry, along with the editorial board of Life Science Review, has selected the leading companies in the Genomics segment looking to offer their expertise to the widest market possible.

In this edition, we present you Life Sciences Review’s "Top 10 Genomics Solution Providers in Europe - 2021."
